Andy has supported our charity and direction for many years and we count him as a friend and supporter.Andrew "Andy" Hessenthaler (born 17 August 1965 in Dartford, Kent) is an English football manager and former player. He began his career in non-league football and did not turn professional until he joined Watford at the age of 26. In 1996, Hessenthaler joined Gillingham and spent the next ten years at the club as player and later player-manager, managing the club to its highest ever finish in the English football league system and becoming regarded as a legend of the Kent club. After leaving Gillingham, he had a short spell at Barnet before joining Dover Athletic in 2007. In his two seasons in charge he led the club to successive championships, of Isthmian League Division One South and the Isthmian League Premier Division. After three years at Dover, he became manager at Gillingham for the second time, but his contract was terminated at the end of the 2011–12 season.

David Van Day

We are proud to have David Van Day and his lovely wife, Sue, as our Patrons and want to thank them for their support.

This UK vocalist found success as a member of mid-70s singing group Guys And Dolls between 1974 and 1977. Along with co-member and girlfriend Thereze Bazar, he broke away from the band and formed the duo Dollar. Between 1978 and 1982 they notched up 11 chart entries. The break-up of their relationship also marked a temporary halt to their recording career as a duo, and both embarked on solo careers. Van Day scored a minor hit with his first and only solo single, ‘Young Americans Talking’. He then turned his hand to artist management until he teamed up with Bazar again in 1986, and they picked up musically where they left off three years earlier. In 1998, he was participating in a revamped Bucks Fizz line-up.

Simon has kindly offered his support to Step & learn Conductive Educations Services as on eof our Patrons. According to Simon's Mum, from the tender age of six, her son would charge the older kids a few bob to let them hear sing - so thus it began. At The Hundred  of Hoo School in Rochester, John Simon excelled in drama and music where he was literally in charge of the drama department for two years, turning his hand designing constumes and building scenery, as well as directing and producing. During this time, his most memorable show was the stage adaption of Monty Pyton's  Life of Brian."
