Caroline Clare Dance School

Caroline is The Principal of Caroline Clare Dance which in 2010 celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Caroline was born in Leeds into a family of professional dancers and started dancing at the age of 2. She made her television debut at the age of 5 in "Junior Showtime" and appeared on it weekly from the age of 8.

Her stage debut was in "The King and I" at The Grand Theatre Leeds. Caroline appeared on TV almost every week throughout the 80's appearing with amongst others Lenny Henry, Shirley Bassey, Chris Tarrant, Cliff Richard, and Phillip Schofield. Caroline's other television credits include Coronation Street and Emmerdale .On the stage Caroline appeared with Marti Caine and Colin Farrell in "Funny Girl" at The Crucible Theatre Sheffield and made her West End Debut at the age of 20 playing Heidi in "Cabaret" alongside Wayne Sleep. After "Cabaret" she appeared with Mickey Rooney and Anne Miller at The Savoy Theatre in "Sugarbabies" Caroline also performed for Princess Diana and Prince Charles at St. James Palace in 1985.

Her choreography credits include working with Richard Stilgoe at The O2 arena, Trinity College Greenwich, the Glastonbury Festival as well as The Dance Crazy Shows for her own dancing school that are held every 2 years. Caroline is a qualified member of The International Dance Teachers Association to teach Ballet, Jazz and Tap. She is also a member of The Royal Academy of Dance. Caroline brings to her dancing school a wide breath of experience which has a distinctly theatrical flavour.

Today, Caroline runs her dance school from both Borough Green and Wrotham in Kent which has fast become the most prominent dance school in kent!
